Association KIBE Region Huttwil

In the 2025 association year, the board was once again able to dedicate itself to its core task with great commitment: making KIBE visible to the public, enabling encounters, and making our offers tangible for families.

The board team also worked very constructively and with great mutual trust this year. The open exchange within the committee, but also with the administrative board, especially with its president Philippe Groux, was experienced as very valuable and enriching. This good cooperation as well as the proximity to day-to-day business and the regular contact with the two managing directors enable us to directly experience the concerns and developments of KIBE and to meaningfully align our association activities accordingly.

Participation in the Carnival Parade 15 March 2025

Under the motto "Iszyt isch Glacezyt" (Ice cream time), KIBE Region Huttwil took part in the 2025 carnival parade, with a record participation of around 100 children and adults from the daycare centre, day school, and day families. With much creativity and commitment, imaginative costumes were created: dressed as ice cream or ice cream sellers, the huge group attracted attention and impressively demonstrated how strongly KIBE is anchored in the region.

Ribimatte Festival 25 May 2025

Also in 2025, KIBE Region Huttwil was present at the popular Ribimatte Festival. With our stand in the midst of the action, we were able to reach numerous families - precisely those people for whom our offers are intended. With games and fresh popcorn, we brought joy to young and old alike. At the same time, many valuable conversations with parents and interested parties took place. Our presence at the Ribimatte Festival offered an ideal opportunity to make KIBE visible and to maintain personal exchange.

Puppet Theatre on 1 November 2025

On 1 November 2025, we were once again able to hold the popular puppet theatre. Again with the same puppet stage as the previous year: Manuela and Philipp Steiner from the Gwundernäsli puppet stage in Steffisburg enchanted our young and older guests in the hall of the reformed parish house with two wonderful and professionally staged puppet stories.

Both performances were very well attended and once again showed how much such events are appreciated by families.

The puppet theatre has now become a fixed part of our association year and contributes significantly to the lively connection between KIBE and the families of the region.

Sponsorship Concept and Anniversary 2027

In view of the anniversary year 2027, the board developed a comprehensive sponsorship concept. This created an important foundation to win partners for this special event.

Concept "Volunteer Helpers"

Another important project was the development of a concept to recruit volunteer helpers. The aim of this project is to find committed people who can support and relieve the staff of the daycare centre and day school, especially during peak times.

With this concept, we want to strengthen the connection to the population and at the same time make a valuable contribution to relieving the operation.

Project "Excursion Destinations in the Region"

As part of the project "Excursion Destinations in the Region," further attractive and low-cost excursion destinations for families could be placed on the platform of Oberaargau Tourism.

With this project, which is still under development, we offer families inspiration for shared experiences in the region and at the same time highlight the attractiveness of our surroundings.

I sincerely thank my colleagues on the board for their great commitment, their ideas, and the pleasant and trusting cooperation. Special thanks go to the administrative board and its president Philippe Groux for the open and appreciative exchange as well as for the good cooperation.

I also thank the two managing directors Sarah Flückiger and Janine Stalder as well as all employees for their daily commitment to the benefit of children and families.

The proximity to operational everyday life and the regular exchange are of great value for our association activities.

I also thank all families, supporters, and partners who contribute to making KIBE Region Huttwil a lively and important part of our region.
