The Data Engineer ensures reliable, high-quality data delivery through the
operation and continuous improvement of automated analytics workflows.
Combining technical depth with a collaborative mindset, this role supports sales
and client-facing teams with accurate, timely, and actionable insights—powered
by automation and smart tools.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Operate and maintain daily data processing jobs in Dataiku, ensuring stability, accuracy, and performance of ETL/ELT pipelines
• Support, monitor, and enhance existing Tableau dashboards and data sources used by business stakeholders
• Produce and review logical and physical data models with multiple data sources
• Define reusable tables including business logic which can be adopted across large sets of projects
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, integrating automated validation and alerting mechanisms
• Collaborate with IT, Architecture, data stewards, and business partners to ensure seamless delivery and alignment, including IT artifacts and governance approvals
• Implement automation solutions using Python, Excel (VBA, Power Query), and platform-native features to reduce manual effort
• Leverage AI and ML data analytics tools for processing natural language data and run experimental analytics with more complex models
• Leverage AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Dataiku AutoML) for faster reporting, documentation, and diagnostics
• Maintain detailed process documentation, runbooks, and metadata records to ensure knowledge continuity
• Share best practices and support team members in advancing data literacy and tool usage

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience with Dataiku (flow management, monitoring, scenarios) and Tableau (workbook maintenance, data extracts)
• Advanced skills in Excel, including macros (VBA), Power Query, and dynamic array functions
• Programming in Python (pandas, openpyxl) and solid understanding of SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with intelligent automation and practical applications of AI-assisted tools in business environments
• Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills—able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent in English; German is an asset for internal collaboration
• Advantage: Basic understanding of private banking, sales reporting, or client relationship data
• Advantage: experience with front-end development, experience surveys platforms
