Scientific Application Specialist LIMS (m/w/d)

implementing digital solutions, and working closely with scientists, laboratory
personnel, IT experts, and external partners?

We are looking for a Scientific Application Specialist 80- 100 % to support and further develop our laboratory informatics landscape, with a strong focus.

Your responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and optimize laboratory workflows in LIMS
• Collaborate with laboratory stakeholders to translate business requirements
  into digital solutions
• Connect laboratory instruments to and support data exchange between
  systems
• Coordinate and troubleshoot instrument interfaces, file transfers, network
  connectivity, and automated data flows
• Support laboratory digitalization projects from concept through implementation
• Create user documentation, training materials, and system guidelines
• Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to laboratory personnel
• Participate in system testing, validation, and continuous improvement
  activities
• Act as a key contact between laboratories, IT teams, software providers, and
  external partners

Qualifikationen

What makes you successful

• Degree in Natural Sciences, Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Food
  Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field

• Strong laboratory background and sound understanding of laboratory
  workflows and processes

• Experience with laboratory software such as LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, or
  similar systems

• Good understanding of instrument connectivity, network communication, file
  exchange protocols, and data integration concepts

• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., SQL, XML, Python, APIs, or
  similar technologies)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

• Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users

• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
