Job Description

Objective / purpose of the function

  • To support sales team
  • To service and support customers
  • To coordinate, help coordinate, monitor and conduct product field tests and customer tests
  • To live the company constitution
  • To contribute towards improving the productivity of our company

Assigned customers - (support the Customer Acquisition Process (CAP), the Retention  Management Process and the Recovery Process)

  •  Assist in networking and retaining relationships with strategically important customers
  •  Provide product and service information
  • Startup existing or new systems either solely or in cooperation and coordination with distributor machines
  • Practice VBSS techniques along with acknowledging visit through documented communication to the customer stating mutually agreed objectives and POA
  •  Measure and document productivity gains and improvements (input & output)
  • Train operators on proper use of product

Maintain and expand relationships within assigned accounts (retain)

  • Provide hands-on customer service and support- Monitor and evaluate product condition and recommend POA
  • Troubleshoot and recommend POA, with support from Customer Service (recover)
  • Assist Area Managers in field situations as per the instructions of the District Manager
  •  Handle special projects assigned by District Manager. Participate in Sales Meetings
  • Assist Distributors, Machine Tool Builders, Machine Tool Dealers in field situations as per 
  • Provide hands-on customer service and support- Monitor and evaluate product condition and recommend POA
  • Troubleshoot and recommend POA, with support from Customer Service (recover)
  • Assist Area Managers in field situations as per the instructions of the District Manager
  •  Handle special projects assigned by District Manager. Participate in Sales Meetings
  • Assist Distributors, Machine Tool Builders, Machine Tool Dealers in field situations as per assignment of Sales Director
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management

F****ield Testing

  • where applicable in the district
  • Manage field test accounts as per instructions and guidance of Sr. Application Engineer
  • Startup machines with BSL test products at assigned field test accounts
  • Regularly visit field test accounts to measure and monitor test product performance
  • Generate and complete necessary documentation, track progress
  • Manage customer expectation and expectation of BSL as it relates to field test accounts
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationship with field test accounts
  • Communicate with field test customers on status, coordinate start-ups etc.
  • Prepare presentations and report field test results for each individual test product

Market Intelligence:

  • Utilize company CRM system for visit reports, scheduling, managing activities and contacting management
  • Assist with and attend tradeshows and open houses as per assignment of Sales Director

Indicators for the appraisal of achievements

  • If objectives / purpose(s) of the position were met
  • Feedback from the sales team on level of support provided
  • Completion of product field tests

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Remote in North Carolina or Virginia (USA)

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

Your profile-Requirements

  • Experience in Metalworking Industry 
  • Basic Knowledge of machining processes, materials and tooling preferred
  • Associates degree or technical school/vocational degree preferred
  • Computer literate with typing ability, MS Outlook, MS Office, CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics or other) 
  • Good knowledge of English language (oral and written) 
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal oriented 
  • Capable to handle multiple tasks, reliable
  • Well organized, hands-on attitude
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds and perform moderate or higher physical activity
  • Ethical and moral business practices
  • Willingness to travel (domestically), including customer or distributor visits and in - person Sales Meetings
