Description du poste

To strengthen its Legal team, our client, a medical device company, is looking for a Legal Counsel who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders and providing practical, solution-oriented legal advice.

Your Responsibilities

-Provide legal support to the Swiss headquarters and international affiliates.

-Advise on a broad range of legal matters including:

Commercial and contract law

Corporate law

Regulatory matters

Intellectual property (patents and trademarks)

Data privacy

Competition and unfair competition law

-Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements.

-Assess legal risks related to business activities, transactions and partnerships, and propose pragmatic solutions.

-Partner with departments such as Sales, Marketing, HR, IT, Supply Chain, R&D and Finance.

-Conduct legal research and fact-finding to support business decisions.

-Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal advisers in Switzerland and internationally.

-Contribute to legal compliance initiatives and risk mitigation strategies across the organization.

Your Profile

-Swiss law degree and Swiss Bar qualification (Brevet d'Avocat):mandatory

-2 to 5 years of professional experience as Legal Counsel or Attorney, ideally within an international company.

-Experience in the medical device, life sciences, industrial or highly regulated sectors is key.

-Strong business acumen and ability to provide clear, practical legal guidance.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

-Fluency in English, and French.
