ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support the development, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based solutions within a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with GCP services, cloud-native technologies, and Infrastructure as Code practices. The role requires a strong technical background, a collaborative mindset, and a solid understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage and optimize GCP services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Implement cloud security best practices and support compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform-related issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud environments and deployment processes.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong knowledge of core GCP services, with particular expertise in Cloud SQL.
Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
Solid proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
Good understanding of cloud security principles and compliance requirements, including PCI standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Cloud certifications.
Experience working in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

Italian and English are required
