The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Join our Ibex manufacturing team in Visp and play a key role in delivering life-changing biopharmaceutical products. This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do

  • Support upstream or downstream manufacturing activities in compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.

  • Troubleshoot process equipment, evaluate results, and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Contribute to environmental monitoring, safety initiatives, and risk assessment activities.

  • Prepare, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including batch records and SOPs.

  • Support investigations, deviations, change controls, and CAPA activities.

  • Participate in equipment commissioning and capital investment projects.

  • Train and support manufacturing personnel on equipment operation and standard manufacturing practices.

What we are looking for

  • Education in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related life sciences discipline.

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, including microbial or mammalian cell culture and/or protein purification.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a regulated environment.

  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.

  • Understanding of GMP principles and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices is beneficial.

  • Willingness to work in a 4-shift operation.
