Tax Reporting Specialist (80-100%)

Within the Technology & Operations unit, Tax Operations provides tax-related services to Lombard Odier Front Office teams and external Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) clients.

The successful candidate will join the Tax Reporting team and be responsible for the planning, testing, and production of tax statements, as well as monitoring and supporting developments of the dedicated tax reporting platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with team members to deliver a high-quality service and collaborate with other Operations teams and key stakeholders, including Technology, Front Office, Legal, and Senior Management. They will proactively identify, assess, and follow up on issues, risks, and regulatory or business changes that may impact our service offering.

 

The role requires strong attention to detail, autonomy, curiosity, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders while proposing pragmatic risk mitigation measures.

 

The Tax Reporting team offers a collaborative and empowering work environment with flexible working arrangements. You will join a team of experienced specialists operating in a dynamic and evolving tax landscape.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the planning and production of tax statements for Lombard Odier clients and BPO clients ;

  • Create new and enhance business process controls for existing and future activities ;

  • Follow up business requirements and participate in testing as part of the in-house tax reporting application development ;

  • Liaise with key stakeholders, such as Front Office and Technology teams within the scope of our client services;

  • Provide support for data analysis on tax related topics ;

  • Draft and maintain operational procedures

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent considered an advantage, although a Swiss CFC or Maturité Professionnelle Bancaire will also be considered.

  • Previous experience in tax reporting or a related field would be highly valued.

  • Proactive and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a strong sense of accountability.

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, collaborate across functions, and thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.

  • Fluent in English and/or French (written and spoken). Additional languages are considered an asset (German, Italian, Spanish, or others).

  • Demonstrated long-term growth potential, with the opportunity to progress into a Deputy role and contribute to leadership, people development, and team management initiatives.

  • Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
