Project information

• Global leader in power generation and energy technology
• Involvement in the commissioning and operation of advanced gas and steam turbine power plants
• International project environment with experts from Operations, Commissioning and Engineering

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor power plant systems during cold and hot commissioning, trial runs and performance testing
• Support system takeover, flushing activities, valve testing, functional tests, start-up sequences and emergency shutdown tests
• Operate the plant from the control room and perform regular equipment inspections and field rounds
• Maintain shift logs, operating records, daily reports and lists of technical issues or pending items
• Coordinate closely with Commissioning Engineers, Lead Operators, the Project Manager and Site Management while complying with all EHS requirements

Profile

• Operational experience in combined-cycle, gas turbine, steam turbine or conventional power plant
• Strong experience in control room operation, plant monitoring and the safe operation of complex technical systems
• Practical experience during commissioning, including system takeover, flushing, testing, start-up or trial operation
• Ability to operate control systems and HMIs safely; experience with GE Mark VIe or GE HMI systems is advantageous
• Fluent English and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift system, including nights, weekends and public holidays
