We maintain long-standing relationships with leading manufacturers from various industries, ranging from the rail vehicle industry to energy and environmental technology, textile industry, food processing, medical technology, and precision instruments, to name but a few. The scope of our employees' tasks includes the examination of products, processes, and systems as well as their development or optimisation, or the engineering of large plants and special machines.

To strengthen our team in Rorschach, we are looking for a committed individual as

Development Engineer (FH) Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Development of new products from the idea to series maturity using the most common engineering tools and methods for our clients
• Development of solution concepts taking into account functional, manufacturing, and economic requirements
• Development and optimisation of assemblies and their subsystems
• Preparation of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
• Technical support of suppliers
• Documentation of requirements, development, and test results

Your profile

• Engineering degree (FH) in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a comparable field
• Basic training as a designer or polymechanic
• Sound knowledge in the use of 3D CAD systems (e.g. CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, ...)
• Preferably familiar with calculation and simulation programmes
• Good communication skills (German, English)
• You are proactive, goal-oriented, and convince with a thoughtful and well-structured way of working
• You work independently, have a confident manner, and a healthy assertiveness
