• You develop concepts and participate in feasibility studies to meet technical requirements
• You perform and take ownership of specific software development tasks, ensuring reviews using checklists and templates
• You lead work package definition, estimation, and planning, and enhance or document SW unit specifications and designs 
• You review designs and contribute to the SW architecture, defining quality attributes and staying updated with technology trends
• You conduct root-cause analysis of complex issues and provide bug fixes for post-market software releases
• You ensure compliance with processes, propose improvements, and stay informed about regulatory and market standards

• Hands-on experience developing embedded or systems-level software in a professional setting
• Experience with real-time Linux (PREEMPT_RT) or a comparable RTOS
• Experience with hardware communication protocols: CAN bus (required)
• Practical understanding of real-time constraints: latency, jitter, task scheduling
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Rust; solid grasp of ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits and error handling
• Comfortable with asynchronous programming in Rust, as well as experienced with Linux and familiarity with embedded build/debug tooling
• University degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; willingness to write good documentation and drive work to conclusion, highly motivated, deadline-focused, with a proactive and thorough way of working 
• Willingness to work in a regulated environment (medical device, automotive, aerospace or industrial safety) and follow structured development processes
• Fluent in English
