Job description

Mandatory criteria

• Nursing diploma in general care recognised by the Swiss Red Cross

Type of position

• Permanent contract with an activity rate of 100-80% - start date to be agreed

Mission (role and expectations)

• Provide appropriate and personalised care to residents regardless of their life project, physical and mental state
• Ensure the overall vision of continuity of care for each resident
• Use available tools to ensure the necessary transmissions and information for the smooth running of work
• Supervise the work of nursing assistants and coordinate the multidisciplinary team of caregivers, ASE, trainees, apprentices, civilian service workers
• Participate in the reception, supervision and integration of trainees and new staff
• Manage orders for equipment and medication
• Keep up to date with the evolution of care techniques through continuing education
• Be responsible for the image of the EMS

Profile sought

Profile (list of main skills required for the position)

• Experience in EMS: an advantage
• CAS training in palliative care or motivation to develop skills in this area: an advantage
• Perfect command of spoken, read and written French
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Pack
• Knowledge of Sadies DIR software: an advantage
• Interest in elderly people and good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate leadership
• Adhere to participative management in a collegiate and interdisciplinary manner
• Show patience, tolerance, flexibility and adaptability
