About our client
For our client, an internationally operating pharmaceutical company recognised for its innovative medical devices and combination products, we are looking for a Technical Transfer Manager – Medical Devices (m/f/d). The company holds a leading position within the global life sciences industry and stands out through its strong focus on quality, technological excellence and patient-centred solutions.
Your responsibilities
Lead technical transfer projects for combination products, medical devices and secondary packaging across an international manufacturing network
Define and drive an aligned transfer strategy that connects development activities with site-level operations
Act as Transfer Team Lead for device and packaging launch activities, coordinating cross-functional project teams
Support lifecycle management of existing products and coordinate the implementation of changes to the device platform
Collaborate closely with Device Development, Technical Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain
Contribute to internal and external audits covering packaging and medical device topics
Prepare technical documentation for medical device and combination product registrations, including responses to health authority questions
Provide manufacturing input during design control stages of device development
Your profile
Completed studies (e.g. PhD or engineering degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology or a related field
Several years of professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally in assembly and packaging, manufacturing science and technology, or technical development
Sound knowledge of design control documentation such as DHF, DMR, pFMEA and URS
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including 21 CFR Part 210/211, 21 CFR Part 4/820, ISO 13485 and related medical device directives
Strong project management skills paired with excellent analytical and technical reporting abilities
Confident communicator with intercultural sensitivity, comfortable working within a global matrix organisation
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
