Legal & Compliance Officer

--- base: meta-keywords: meta-viewport: width=device-width, title: Legal & Compliance Officer --- Legal \& Compliance Officer =========================== We are seeking a Legal \& Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team in Geneva and ensure full compliance with Swiss and international banking regulations. **Main responsibilities** * Provide legal and regulatory guidance to business lines and operational teams * Monitor and ensure compliance with Swiss banking laws, FINMA regulations, and internal policies * Support the AML program, including complex case review and escalation * Draft, review, and negotiate banking contracts, agreements and legal documentation * Prepare and oversee regulatory reporting and communications with FINMA and other authorities * Conduct compliance risk assessments, internal audits and implementation of control measures **Required skills** * Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification * Experience in legal and compliance functions within a bank or regulated financial institution is an advantage * Knowledge of Swiss banking law, FINMA requirements, AML regulations, and corporate governance standards * Experience in handling regulatory audits and inspections is an advantage * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills * Ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and liaise with senior management ***Languages*** Fluent in **English and French** Additional languages are a plus **Place of work** Geneva **Contract type** Full time permanent employment **Valid work permit for Switzerland** **Immediate entry date or to be discussed**  * CIM BANQUE SA Genève 1207 Genève * [ ](< >) jpid8cafd2bjm jpit0938jm jpiy26jm
