In our R&D group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals in the form of hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications and PC software. From the concept to the deployment phase, you will be engaged in contributing to highly flexible and reliable software and firmware solutions.
As a Software Engineer DSP - Tools & Infrastructure, you will drive the design, implementation and maintenance of SW tools for embedded audio signal processing. These tools enable model-based functional development, and embedded application-level development. They address the needs arising in embedded software development for a multi-processor embedded system dedicated to signal- and neural-network processing.

Design and evolve software development tools that enable model-based and embedded functional software development for signal- and neural-network processing
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements for design and implementation of software development tools
Actively support the communication and collaboration between the teams that develop the tools and the teams that use the tools
Drive software engineering best practices through design reviews, technical guidelines, and continuous improvement
Contribute to architectural qualities in support of conceptual integrity, modularity, maintainability and extensibility
More about you
University degree (MSc/BSc) or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering or related technical field
4+ years of experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of embedded software systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Python
Experience with Matlab & Simulink
Knowledge of one (or more) of the following technologies: C/C++, Docker, CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), Bash
Good understanding of signal processing development, knowledge on Neural Network development is a plus
Experience with real-time signal processing systems is a plus
Collaborative mindset with a customer and service-oriented approach
Fluent skills in English; German is a plus
