Project information

  • Opportunity to lead a high-visibility transformation program within the Swiss energy sector
  • Based in Olten, Switzerland, with regular onsite collaboration (3-4 days per week) and engagement with senior business and technology stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale IT and digital transformation programs delivered through strategic external partners and service providers
  • Manage complex delivery models involving both internal teams and outsourced resources across multiple workstreams
  • Oversee end-to-end program governance, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Drive vendor and partner performance through effective stakeholder management, contractual oversight, and service reviews
  • Coordinate global technology partners and external delivery organizations within multi-year transformation initiatives
  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, reporting structures, and executive steering committees
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure successful business outcomes while managing large-scale outsourced IT delivery engagements

Profile

  • Extensive experience as a Program Manager leading enterprise-wide IT transformation and modernization initiatives
  • Proven track record of delivering complex programs through hybrid delivery models involving internal and external teams
  • Strong experience managing strategic vendors, outsourcing partners, and global service providers
  • Demonstrated expertise in governance, commercial oversight, and vendor performance management
  • Experience overseeing large-scale outsourced IT service delivery and transformation programs
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and external partners
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within multinational and highly complex IT environments
  • Prior experience delivering IT transformation programs within the energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure industry is considered a strong advantage
