Senior Frontend React Developer

Swisslinx is recruiting a Senior Frontend React Developer for a leading Swiss wealth management firm in Zurich.

• Own complex frontend solutions and build production grade applications with React and TypeScript, with attention to performance, security and maintainability.
• Work with UX and UI designers, business stakeholders and backend engineers to turn demanding financial workflows into clear client experiences.
• Shape frontend architecture, state management and integration with distributed backend services; contribute to shared components and design systems.
• Modernise existing code, investigate issues in development and production, and contribute to quality through reviews, testing and agile delivery.

You will help shape the frontend of mission critical investment platforms, including a new client channel integrated with the bank’s e-banking platform. This is an opportunity to influence architecture and deliver intuitive experiences in a regulated environment.

• Extensive hands on JavaScript and TypeScript experience, with deep React expertise in enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of the modern frontend ecosystem, including and build tooling, plus experience with large component libraries and design systems.
• Comfortable with Unix or Linux and bash; familiarity with CI/CD, cloud platforms (ideally Azure), containers and microservices.
• Exposure to API security and OAuth2; experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage.
• Clear communication, sound technical judgment and the ability to work effectively across disciplines.

• Two home office days per week.
• Initial 12 month contract with the possibility of extension.
• A visible new investment channel alongside work on established financial platforms.
• Close collaboration with design, business and engineering teams.
