What you'll be doing
- Take ownership of varied administrative tasks relating to business partners, reinsurance contracts and renewal submission data
- Support our underwriters in nurturing existing partnerships and helping develop new business relationships
- Prepare insightful figures and analyses that contribute to well-founded decisions on reinsurance contracts
- Create and maintain meaningful reports that support portfolio management and effective control
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders as well as external clients and brokers
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across underwriting, actuarial and accounting teams within reinsurance
What you'll bring to the role
- A higher education background combined with relevant experience in the insurance or reinsurance environment
- A strong sense of commitment, curiosity and willingness to learn, paired with excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- A proactive, independent and well-structured working style
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Resilience and the ability to stay focused and organized during busy periods, especially renewal season
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; German and any additional languages are a plus
