Training content

This is what you learn in your apprenticeship as a Tyre Technician EBA.

General information about the apprenticeship

You learn about the tasks and responsibilities of the company. You know how to serve customers in a friendly and competent manner. We teach you how to receive and check goods, and you learn how to store tyres properly.

Service work

You learn the function of the vehicle's components. You can measure and assess the condition of fluids in the vehicle - oil, brakes, battery, radiator, power steering, and windscreen washer fluid.

Tyres and wheels

You learn how tread depth, speed rating, and maximum total weight must be consistently observed and applied. You can explain the use of snow chains, acquire knowledge of wheel and tyre removal, and carry out the fitting independently. You know how to balance wheels professionally and maintain tools, machines, and company equipment correctly and efficiently.

Your application letter, your CV with a current photo, copies of your school certificates, and possibly other documents such as behaviour assessments or taster reports. Make sure your dossier is neat and complete - first impressions count when applying.

We will review your documents and check whether we as a training company suit you and you suit us. This may take a few days - please be patient.

If it fits, we will invite you to an interview. If the interview goes well, we will offer you the apprenticeship - or invite you again for a taster to get to know you better. Upon a positive decision, you will receive the apprenticeship contract.
