Responsibilities
- Maintain and support electrical, instrumentation, automation, and process control systems across manufacturing and utility facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related issues to minimize downtime
- Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Support root cause investigations and implementation of CAPAs
- Support and maintain DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and related automation infrastructure
- Collaborate with Automation, Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize plant performance
- Provide support for MES systems, preferably Syncade, including troubleshooting production and batch record issues
- Prioritize maintenance activities based on safety, quality, and production impact
- Support GMP documentation, deviations, investigations, change controls, and risk assessments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, maintenance excellence, and operational efficiency
Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Control Engineering, or a comparable discipline (HF, BSc, MSc)
- Experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or process manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control systems
- Hands-on experience with DeltaV (DCS/PLS) environments
- Good understanding of GMP-regulated manufacturing operations
- Experience with MES systems, ideally Syncade
- SAP maintenance module knowledge is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Fluent German skills, English is an advantage
- Structured, resilient, and proactive working style with strong stakeholder management skills
