Responsibilities

  • Perform biochemical testing and laboratory activities in accordance with approved procedures while complying with GMP/GDP requirements and Quality Control department projects
  • Prepare laboratory reagents, buffers, and solutions required for testing activities / Adhere to all laboratory and company procedures
  • Follow and apply all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements
  • Complete laboratory forms, logbooks, and documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ALCOA+ principles
  • Escalate non-conforming and/or invalid results to the Supervisor on the same day, both verbally and/or in writing, and initiate quality events within required timelines
  • Conduct laboratory investigations and support deviation management activities / Execute planned activities and proactively communicate any issues impacting deadlines or priorities
  • Perform qualification protocols for reagents, consumables, and validation activities related to methods, systems, and equipment
  • Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance are up to date before conducting analyses / Manage Kanban activities in real time
  • Report procedural deviations and improvement opportunities to Method Owners, Equipment Owners, Supervisors, Delegates, or Subject Matter Experts
  • Identify and troubleshoot routine technical issues within the scope of expertise / Prepare and/or approve laboratory solutions as required
  • Maintain laboratory organization and housekeeping according to 5S standards / Support continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

  • CFC Laboratory Technician, Biology degree, or other relevant scientific qualification
  • Some years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory within a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience with laboratory investigations and GMP documentation practices
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and compliance requirements
