Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager NPI (New Product Introduction) to join an international manufacturing organization based in Winterthur, Switzerland.

This role will sit at the center of new product development, acting as the key Supply Chain interface between R&D, project teams, planning, and operations.

You will take a project management approach to bringing new products into production, with a particular focus on electronics and related machinery.

Key responsibilities as Supply Chain Manager NPI include:

  • Lead Supply Chain activities throughout the New Product Introduction process, ensuring products are successfully transitioned from development into production
  • Act as the key interface between R&D, Project Management, Planning, Procurement and wider Supply Chain teams
  • Coordinate global Supply Chain requirements across international product development projects
  • Identify and manage risks around components, availability, suppliers, lead times and production readiness
  • Ensure Supply Chain considerations are embedded early within product development and launch planning
  • Drive projects forward through structured planning, stakeholder coordination and proactive problem solving

The ideal candidate profile:

  • 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, NPI, Product Development, or a related function within an international manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience supporting or leading New Product Introduction/product launch projects and working closely with R&D
  • Strong technical understanding of electronics, ideally including components such as connectors, resistors, and related electronic parts
  • Experience within machinery, electronics, industrial technology, or a similar engineering-led environment
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across global teams
  • Structured, proactive, and commercially minded, with the ability to act as the link between technical development and Supply Chain
  • Fluent English essential; German would be highly advantageous

We act as a neutral third party in the recruitment process, basing our candidate searches on skills and experience. We welcome all applications regardless of age, gender, sex, relationship status, disability, race, religion/beliefs, or sexual orientation.
