Candidate Profile

  • You hold a university degree, ideally in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Science or another relevant quantitative discipline.
  • You have at least 1 year of relevant industry experience, ideally within gas and/or power operations, energy trading, scheduling, dispatching or a comparable position.
  • You have strong numerical and analytical skills and are comfortable working with large volumes of data.
  • You are fluent in English. Additional European languages would be an advantage.
  • You are resilient and able to make accurate decisions quickly and confidently in a fast-moving environment.
  • You are flexible and comfortable working within a 24/7 shift organisation, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and communicating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail together with sound commercial judgement.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

TotalEnergies Gas & Power (TGP) is the trading arm of TotalEnergies for gas, LNG, power and low-carbon energies. Operating in highly dynamic and volatile markets, TGP plays a key role in supporting the Group's ambitions through the optimisation and management of complex energy portfolios.

Based within our Gas, Power & Emissions (GPE) Operations team, you will support the management of TotalEnergies' physical gas and power portfolios across Europe.

The team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring the safe and efficient management of physical positions across European pipeline and transmission networks. The position is therefore organised on a shift basis, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Working in a fast-paced trading environment, you will interact closely with Gas, Power and LNG Trading Desks, Group affiliates, upstream and downstream teams, network operators and external counterparties.
