As part of Central Compliance you will join the Investment Controlling and Monitoring & Control teams which play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, effective investment oversight and strong control framework execution, with a focus on specific risk types.

YOUR CHALLENGE
During the programme, you will rotate across three specialised control functions, gaining comprehensive insights into Custody Bank Control, Fund Control and Monitoring and Control Execution in Switzerland and Spain.
Custody Bank Control (Zurich)
Contribute to oversight and control activities for Swiss collective investment schemes in the role of Custodian Bank, supporting compliance with CISA/KAG, applicable regulations, and fund-specific requirements
Support the monitoring and review of investment activities and fund operations, helping to ensure compliance with investment restrictions and the accuracy of NAV calculations, distributions, transactions, and fund records.
Gain exposure to governance reporting and stakeholder interactions while collaborating across teams to support effective fund governance and regulatory compliance.
Fund Control (Madrid)
Support the monitoring of investment guidelines and regulatory requirements by reviewing fund restrictions, assessing breaches and exceptions, and collaborating with portfolio managers and other stakeholders on their resolution.
Monitoring and Control Execution (Zurich)
Design & Assessment: Support the design, assessment, and enhancement of 2LoD controls covering key compliance risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business practices
Control Execution: Execute recurring compliance controls in a timely and accurate manner, with a primary focus on client suitability assessments, while gaining exposure to pricing practices, intermediary frameworks, and other defined risk areas
Deficiency Management: Collaborate with Client-Facing Units to support the identification and remediation of control deficiencies, leveraging structured workflows and tracking actions through to completion
Reporting & Analysis: Analyze, validate, and interpret control results and exception reports, contributing to management reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Information Technology or a related field (graduation max. 12 months ago)
Initial practical experience through internships, working student positions or other relevant activities in Compliance, Risk Management, Fund Services or Asset Management combined with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
Fluency in English and German, with additional languages being a plus
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and common business applications) and an interest in data analysis and automation. Initial experience with Python, VBA, or SQL (e.g., through studies, personal projects, or professional experience) is desirable
